The Harvard freshman squash squad yesterday smashed Exeter, 6-1, in its second match of the season.

Coach Corey Wynn said that he is very pleased with the performance of the team and impressed with how few errors it made.

Adam Clark gave the best performance of the day for the Crimson. Playing number three, he defeated his opponent 17-14, 15-16, 15-18. Clark Bain topped Exeter's Marty Cannon with ease, 15-11, 15-10, 15-12.

John Stubbs, playing number one, made a quick recovery after losing the first game of a four-game match, 15-13. Stubbs came back forcefully in the last three games and triumphed, 15-10, 15-7, 15-12.

Hot Line

Number four, Brad Rockwell took four matches to defeat his opponent, 15-9, 6-15, 15-10, while Scot Paschucci, at five, defeated his opponent 17-14, 15-12, 12-15, 15-10.

Wynn said he was particularly pleased with Paschucci's game, as yesterday was his first day back on the court after missing five days with an illness.

Jim Doetsch, who played the longest match of the day, triumphed in the fifth game to the tune of 10-15, 16-14, 15-11, 6-15, 15-12, while Steve Winthrop at number seven fell in four games for Harvard's one defeat.
