The Washington Bullets defeated the Boston Celtics yesterday afternoon, 98-92, to win their best-of-seven series for the Eastern Conference championship, four games to two. The Bullets, reaching the NBA finals for only the second time in their history, will play the championship round against either the Golden State Warriors or the Chicago Bulls. Those clubs are knotted at 3-3 in their battle for the Western Conference championship.
