The Harvard-Radcliffe sailing team qualified for the North American championships by besting seven schools in a New England race yesterday.

Harvard came in second to the Coast Guard overall, and Tufts followed the Crimson in the race. Terry Neff, a sophomore at Harvard, was voted number-one sailor in New England after the regatta. Harvard's Chris Middendorf was low point skipper for the meet, and is now ranked fourth in New England.

Harvard had previously won the Greater Boston Championships and the Ogden trophy this season.

The North American Championships on June 10 will feature all top intercollegiate sailors.
