The New American Movement called last night for picketing this evening outside a dinner with William Colby, director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
Colby is the second of three guests invited to offer off-the-record answers to Nieman Fellows' questions about American intelligence-gathering. The others are Daniel Ellsberg '52 and Victor Marchetti, co-author of "The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence."
James C. Thomson Jr., curator of the Nieman Fellowships, said last night that "to keep it small," tonight's meeting would be open only to Niemans and their spouses.
NAM called for picketing outside the Faculty Club starting at 6:15 p.m., protesting CIA activities in general and intervention in Chile in particular.
