Kuhn to Testify On Gambling

Baseball Commissioner Bowie Kuhn and 'Jimmy the Greek' Snyder will testify before a Massachusetts legislative committee Tuesday on proposals to legalize state-run gambling on sports events.

The committee on Government Regulatoons has proposed creating a Public Wagering Commission, which would take over the existing state lottery and take bets on races and sporting events--both in Massachusetts and elsewhere.
