The Harvard J.V. track team defeated a scrappy Cadet junior club at the Bubble Saturday 67-50. The runners stole the show as George Farrelly, David O'Conner and Bill Muller paced victories in the mile, 1000 and two mile.

Harvard's Steve Hanes vaulted to a 14 ft. 8 in. victory in pole vault competition. The Crimson's Phil Barth took second in the same event.

Scott Hundahl and Frank Kulash placed one-two in the high jump for the Crimson.

In the 60-yard high hurdles Harvard's Mark Greenburg bested two top Army hurdlers to capture a quick five points. Harvard's two mile relay team of Tom Phillips, Dana Bonstrom, Richard Anderson and David O'Conner also placed first.

Crimson track coach Bob Hunt said he was very impressed with the performances in the pole vault, 1000-yard competition, and two mile division.

"Muller has been trying to come back in that two mile and he did it all by himself," Hunt said after the meet. "It was a magnificent running effort."
