High-ranking South Vietnamese officials said late yesterday that Saigon forces have captured a document from the North Vietnamese high command informing North Vietnamese and NLF troops that initialling of a cease-fire agreement in Paris is expected at 9 p.m. Saigon time Wednesday, 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
The senior officials quoted the document as saying the agreement would be signed Saturday in Paris and the cease-fire would go into effect Sunday.
