The World of Ideas

By Punch Sulzberger, Special to the Crimson

Have you been wondering who is going to receive an honorary degree at Commencement Thursday morning? We have, and our correspondents around the world report that:

*Roy Jenkins, the former Deputy Leader of the British Labour Party has left England on a mysterious trip to Cambridge, Mass., paid for, believe it or not, by Yale University, which is publishing three of his lectures this week.

*Elma Lewis, the director of the National Center of Afro-American Artists, has been choreographing a Boston dance company for a jazz interpretation of "Fair Harvard."

*President Emeritus Nathan M. Pusey '28, who retired last June, will not be found at his New York office at the Mellon Foundation from Wednesday afternoon until Friday morning.

Further reports from our international staff are forthcoming. The names of other candidates, including this correspondent are receiving serious consideration.
