GRADUATE AID PROPOSAL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Everett I. Mendelsohn, professor of the History of Science, and Stanley L. Cavell. Cabot Professor of Aesthetics, will propose at today's Faculty meeting that the Faculty take a "serious new look" at the Graduate School's financial support programs for teaching and non-teaching graduate students, Mendelsohn said last night.

Mendelsohn declined to comment further on the proposals he and Cavell would present today.

The Faculty is scheduled to consider a number of other motions when it meets today, including one to combine the Department of Psychology and the Department of Social Relations into a single department.
