Junior wing Dave Hynes was named to the Eastern All-American hockey team announced Thursday. Hynes, who amassed 23 goals and 31 assists during the season, will be participating with his teammates on the "local line" on the U.S. national squad at the World Championships in Rumania. Last year he was voted the most valuable player at the ECACs in which he outshone last year's captain Joe Cavanaugh, a three-time All American himself. Hynes was the only Harvard player to make the squad, with goalie Dan Brady, defenseman Bob Brown and center Jack Danby, of B.U., Cornell's center Larry Pullman, and Clarkson defensman Steve Warr.
