John K. Fairbank '29, Higginson Professor of History, left Mascow for Tokyo Wednesday after two weeks of discussions with some of Russia's experts on China.

Fairbank, on leave for the Full term, said last week that he visited Moscow to study the relationship that is developing between the United States, the Soviet Union, and China.

Fairbank's visit was set up by the International Research and Exchanges Board, a New York organization which arranges scholarly exchanges with the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
