The formal signing of the Joe Frazier George Foreman heavyweight title fight was delayed yesterday when Foreman failed to show up for the signing of the contract.

Foreman said that he couldn't attend the meeting with Frazier because he missed his plane.

The match is scheduled to be held on January 22, 1973 in Kingston, Jamaica and will pit Foreman, the unbeaten former Olympic gold medalist, against Frazier, the current world champion.
