President Bok has chosen Joseph I. Bower, professor of Business Administration, to direct a newly-unified charity fund appeal

Bower will lead a corps of more than 100 volunteers in collecting funds from University employees for the United Fund and other charities. This is the first time all charity drives at Harvard have been jointly organized.
