The Radcliffe netters compete at 3:30 this afternoon on home ground against Pine Manor, which last year beat the Radcliffe team, 3-2.
"Pine Manor has strong doubles teams," coach Jean Evans said last night. "But we're much stronger this year and will probably beat them."
At first singles for Radcliffe will be Meg Morgan, with Joy Skon and Ellen Rouse at second and third singles. First doubles will be Penny Morehead and Claire Stuart; at second doubles will be Kathy Day and Terry Steiner.
Saturday and Sunday the team is hostessing an eight-school invitational tournament. Wellesley, Barnard, Yale, Vassar, Cornell, Mt. Holyoke, and Penn will be playing.
