A Saturday march on the Boston Common led by Fernando Torres Gil, a Mexican-American graduate student at Brandeis, marked the resumption by the United Farm Workers of their national boycott of non-union lettuce.

The resumption ended a 30-day moratorium on the boycott during which the Farmworkers had begun talks with several large California growers.
