CO-ED CLARIFICATION

By Adams House and William LILLER Master

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

I am writing to correct a misunderstanding that appeared in Monday's CRIMSON.

In the article on co-residential living, it was stated that the ratio of men to women in each House ". . . was determined by adding the number of House members willing to move to Radcliffe to one-third of the House's freshman quota for next year and dividing this sum into the total number of spaces available in the House."

It should be made clear that this procedure gives the ratio of the total number of people (men plus women) to the number of women. Therefore, the actual male-to-female ratio for Adams House. for example, is 5.2, not 6.2 as stated; all other ratios should likewise be reduced by 1.0 to obtain male-female ratios.
