Jack Neal, Harvard's junior linebacker, has been named to the ECAC Team of the Week for his performance Saturday in the Crimson's 29-7 upset of Princeton.
He intercepted two passes, recovered a fumble, and made 11 tackles. Neal now has made 34 tackles.
Before the season, Neal was considered the fourth linebacker behind captain Gary Farneti, Greg Koski, and Mark Ferguson. But Koski didn't come out, and after the first three games Neal took Ferguson's starting spot. Last year, Neal's brother Dale was the starter there.
Other Harvard players to earn recognition from the ECAC this week were Rod Foster and Steve Harrison, who were honorable mention.
