SMC Planning Forum Attracts Only Eight

Only eight people attended a Student Mobilization Committee organizational meeting in Burr A last night at which plans were discussed for upcoming demonstrations and meetings.

James H. Maloney '70 blamed the poor attendance on the failure to announce this meeting at the last one held on October 8.

Leaflets will be distributed at gates in the Yard today, promulgating news of a rally in City Hall Plaza at 4 p. m. today to protest the Kent State indictments.

The three drives of greatest urgency discussed at the meeting are: the rally this afternoon, an anti-war march and rally to be held on October 31 in the Boston Common and the Vietnam Referendum '70.

Tables to be set up outside various House dining rooms were assigned to the eight individuals attending.
