Harvard sailed to a strong fourth last Sunday in the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association dinghy championship held at the College Park Yacht Club in Winthrop.
The first and second place teams, Coast Guard and M.I.T., will go on to Seattle for the North American dinghy championship.
Harvard's young team was hampered by the poor weather conditions, including 20 to 25 knot winds. Robbie Doyle '71, Boyd Travsky '70, Jeff Storer '70, Joe Worth '71, and Parker Jayne '69 sailed for Harvard.
In related action on Sunday Robbie Doyle won the New England single-handed championship with 7 firsts, 3 seconds, 2 fourths and 1 fifth in his heats. Doyle will go on to Seattle to compete in the Nationals.
