The Harvard Water Polo Club will treat would-be water-polo watchers to a clinic in the art of spectator ship, Monday in the indoor. Athletic Building on Holyoke Street.
The water-polo group, winner of last Spring's New England Intercollegiate Championships, is among the least publicized of Harvard's teams.
The purpose of the clinic is to teach spectators the rules, strategies, and fine points of the game. The Harvard team will demonstrate basic polo techniques-ball handling passing, shooting, guarding, and teamwork-with a commentary by team member Leland Faust. A game will follow.
"The clinic will afford people a chance to cultivate a sense of the play of the game." club vice-president Steven Rennard said.
