YPSL, Hillel Protest French Mideast Role

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The H-R Young Peoples Socialist League and H-R Hillel are co-sponsoring a demonstration at the French consulate today, in cooperation with the Boston-area "Ad Hoc Committee for a Just French Policy in the Middle East."

The demonstration will be at 3 p.m. at the French Consulate at 3 Common-wealth Ave., near Boston Common.

Jay R. Rothstein '71 said the protest was against the French government's policies, which include an embargo on arms shipments to Israel, and "in support of French public opinion, which has opposed De Gaulle on this issue."
