Two Harvard students yesterday morning subdued two young assailants who had allegedly just robbed an employee of the University.
Lewis Jene Perre, a 35-year-old African presently employed by Harvard, was held up on the Business School side of the Weeks Bridge and then chased his assailants back across the bridge to Mill St. in front of Leverett House, according to Cambridge Police.
At this point, the police said, one student, hearing Perre's shouts for assistance, tackled one of the men while another student grappled with the second man until the police arrived about 30 seconds later.
