UNITED MINISTRY COUNSELING

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

In reference to your article on The United Ministry Counseling Service, we should like to clarify one point.

The CRIMSON story gave the impression that the service offered was primarily draft counseling. Although the impetus for its establishment came as a result of and in response to the new draft situation, it was conceived of neither as an agency for dispensing information nor as one chiefly concerned with draft resistance. Both of those kinds of services are already capably fulfilled.

The United Ministry Counseling Service is an attempt to expand and centralize counseling in all areas, including problems related to the draft. (The Rev.) W. J. Schneider   Chairman, United Ministry at   Harvard and Radcliffe   (The Rev.) T. H. Evans   Chairman of Committee on Counseling
