The Harvard ruggers finish up this year's highly successful season tomorrow at an eight team tournament at Holy Cross.
The Crimson has already met and defeated four of the invited teams. Tufts, Dartmouth, Holy Cross, and Princeton all fell in earlier games this season. Entries from Fairfield, Fordham, and Brown complete the tournament roster.
Two-Day Tourney
The three-round tournament will last two days, with the quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday, and the finals on Sunday afternoon.
The ruggers brought their season record up to 4-2 last weekend after swamping Princeton 20-3. The Tigers held the Crimson scoreless for the first half of the game. In the second half, the back line, which was playing together for the first time, suddenly gelled and tallied six tries before the final whistle.
After the match, team captain Sione Tupounuia, surrounded by his 14 teammates, performed his traditional victory dance--a sacred team ritual.
Rugby fans are hoping to see Tupounuia perform three times this weekend.
