The Davis boys will captain Harvard's tennis and lacrosse teams next year.
Brian Davis of Leverett House and Hastings-on-Hudson., N.Y., will succeed Dave Benjamin as captain of the tennis team. An easy-stroking, powerful swinger, Davis was Harvard's number one doubles player and seventh singles man this season. Last year he played second doubles and sixth singles.
The John M. Barnaby Award for over all contribution to the tennis team, excluding the captain, went to senior Clive Kileff, who was undefeated at number three this season.
Dave Davis of Kirkland House and Washington, D.C., follows Dan Calderwood as the lacrosse captain. Big Dave, at 6-3 and 225 pounds, is the team's largest performer, and one of the fastest. He is a defenseman during the spring and a first string defensive tackle during the fall.
