The tennis team plays Brown today at Soldiers Field in what should not be too much more than a warmup for the Penn match on Friday.
The Bruins are much improved over last year when they bowed, 9-0, to the Crimson. However, Brown is weak in singles play and the Crimson, even with out Clive Kileff, should win on the strength of the singles.
With Bob Higginbottom and Bob Bruce, and Rich Klaffky and John Mogulesen the Bruins have two strong doubles teams. Doubles have been the Crimson's major problem lately.
Last year Penn upset Harvard in two doubles matches. The contest today should prove valuable in sharpening the Crimson's Dave Benjamin and Bernie Adelsberg, and Dick Appleby and Brian Davis for the important match on Friday.
