GBI Meet Tests Harvard Strength

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard track fans will be watching their team's performance at the Greater Boston Intercollegiates today with great anticipation. This is the first real team effort in a couple of months and could show how we'll do for the rest of the season and possibly in the IC4A's.

Northeastern Only Threat

The only real trouble today will come from Northeastern. They have their best team ever and look very strong. The other entries, B.U., B.C., Tufts, and M.I.T., are along for the ride and are expected to pick up just a few points. They can, however, play the role of spoilers, since the meet will be won or lost on the team's ability to pick up many seconds, thirds, and fourths.

The focus of the meet will be in the 600-yard dash, the high jump, and in the relays. The Crimson should split the first two of these events and the relays should pose no problems.
