To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

Reading about the battle of the sycamores in today's CRIMSON reminds me of another road being quietly built along this side of the river between the Eliot and Arsenal bridges. The not unpleasant little stand of scrub red birch that used to be there, below the cemetery, will soon be replaced by pavement and another stream of the ubiquitous cars that seem to come out of the woodwork nowadays.
