The Harvard Committee for the Dante Celebration in association with the Department for Romance Languages and Literatures will present a series of lectures in commemoration of the seventh centennial of Dante's birth. Nino Pirrotta, Walter W. Naumberg Professor of Music, will speak Thursday evening at 8 p.m. in Boylston Hall on "Stil Nuovo, Ars Nova." Also speaking in the series will be Gianfranco Contini, of the University of Florence and Umberto Bosco, of the University of Rome.
