Timothy Leary, an LSD researcher relieved of his duties as a lecturer on Clinical Psychology two years ago for absence from the classroom, will return to talk about the drug tonight.
Leary will take part in an informal discussion on psychedelic drugs at 8 p.m. in Phillips Brooks House. The talk sponsored by the Harvard-Radcliffe Psychology Society and William James society..
The Corporation fired Richard Alpert, Leary's partner in drug research, at the same time it relieved him--on the grounds that Alpert had violated an agreement not to give consciousness-expanding drugs to undergraduates.
