Erikson's '139' Takes Seniors

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 252 seniors who signed for Soc Sci 139 will be permitted to take the course, but freshmen, sophomores, and juniors won't Auditors will also be barred.

Erik H. Erikson, professor of Human Development, announced his decision yesterday. Originally he had intended to limit "The Human Life Cycle" to 150, but more than twice that number showed up for the first two MFW-at-12 lectures.

After trying to dissuade some of them, Erikson said that all the seniors would be admitted and that juniors would fill "the extra places." But the only extras in the course, it transpired yesterday, would be extra sections.
