Radcliffe Freshman Wards Off Attacker

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A Radcliffe freshman was attacked on Shepard St. Wednesday night while she was returning from the Library.

The girl had just passed the main entrance to the Quad when a man who looked like he was in his late 20's jumped from a car and assaulted her. She screamed and kicked her assailant, who fled when several Shepard St. residents ran out to help her.

Neighbors noted that the car involved, a white, four-door, '58 Oldsmobile, has frequently been seen cruising the Quad area.
