Augustin Cardinal Bea, president of the Vatican Secretariat for Promoting Christian Unity, arrived in Boston yesterday. Widespread speculation is that the 83-year-old Cardinal will receive an honorary degree from Harvard on Thursday.
Cardinal Bea was last in Boston in March of 1963 to receive an honorary degree of Doctor of Cannon and Civil Law at the Boston College Centennial.
