A stubborn Vic Niederhoffer battled back from a two-game deficit to whip teammate Romer Holleran yesterday in their semifinal match in the University's Foster Cup competition.
Strong volleying gave Holleran the first two games, but his senior colleague came back with some pin-point corner shooting to sweep the next three, 15-10, 15-9, 15-10. Niederhoffer will play either Jim Zug, Bob Hetherington, or Dudley Lyons in Tuesday's final.
