Break In Water Pipe Sets Houses Gurgling

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A broken pipe under Dunster St. near Kirkland House created a small flood and was raising havoc with the water systems in three Houses yesterday and late last night.

Plumbers were busy for a good part of the day trying to repair the system, but last night, some students in Winthrop House reported that their toilets were still constantly running. Others said that "water pressure is so low you can't get a good shower."

Although the main trouble was occurring in Winthrop, scattered complaints also came from Eliot and Kirkland Houses.
