Ford Names Sekler Coordinator of VAC

Eduard F. Sekler, professor of Architecture in the Graduate School of Design, has been named coordinator of studies in the VAC, Dean Ford announced yesterday.

Sekler heads a list of four appointments to staff positions at the new Center which will offer a full schedule of undergraduate courses next Fall.

Mirko Basaldella, lecturer on Design, was named director of Design Workshops in the Center. Ford also announced the appointment of Robert G. Gardner, presently director of the Film Study Center in the Peabody Museum, as lecturer on Visual Studies and coordinator of the Light and Communication Workshops in the Center.

Peter D. Shultz has been named executive secretary of the Center. All four senior staff members are responsible for direction of the Center's activities.
