WHRB will hold a kick-off diner this spring for the campaign to raise $100,000 for its proposed new studios. Under the guidance of James R. Reynolds '22, who handled the $82 million Program for Harvard College, the radio station will first seek large gifts from specific "friends."
The station is being forced to move from its quarters in the basement of Dudley House before Dudley is demolished sometime next year. WHRB's plans now call for building a second story addition to the master's garage of Leverett House.
The new facilities, when completed, will be slightly more than twice as large as those now be used. Included in its 17 rooms will be five studios instead of the present two.
