Michael R. Duland '68, of Elliot House and Chestnut Hill, will succeed as battalion commander of the Naval ROTC. Other members of the staff announced by Capt. Richard R. Redmayne USM, professor of Naval Science are: James F. Henchman '68, executive officer; Thomas M. Chafin '68, Alpha company commander; Ronald D. Rochelens '68, Brave company commander; and Ronald Perera '68, Charlie company commander.
Redmayne also announced the following awards at the battalion's Soldier's Field parade formation: the Naval Institute award is a regular student, to George W. Ditmore '63; the Naval Institute award is a contract student, to C. Michael Eboridan '62; the General Dynamics award, to Bradford K. Perry '64; the Marine Corps Ganetts award, to Richard G. Adam. '62; and the Naval ROTC unit award, to Stephen M. Kaufman '62.
