The Faculty approved yesterday the proposal to give Harvard degrees to Radcliffe girls. Pending only the consent of the Corporation, the degree change will go into effect in June of 1963.
One professor asked if the change would mean a joint commencement. Radcliffe President Mary I. Bunting said that the 'Cliffe trustees had not discussed this possibility.
The only other question raised was whether the change would have any effect on Harvard College, President Pusey said it would not.
