NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Kirkland has won the House hockey championship by virtue of a forefeit victory over Dudley House last night. Closing with an 3-3 victory over Lowell House Wednesday, the Deacons compiled a 15-1 record, losing only to Winthrop House. Bill Fryer sparked Kirkland's attack Wednesday with five goals.

Though perenniel winners of the Straus Trophy, Kirkland has not won the hockey championship since 1957. Winthrop, second in this season's competition, won the championship last year.
