To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

It would have been a much more pleasant surprise to and bits of my article for the Stanford Daily reprinted in the CRIMSON if you had included more of my positive statements. For example, I wish you had quoted the last paragraph, which said "I'm not sorry I transferred. There are many new ideas and live people here, and I'm lucky to get to know them." Of if you had mentioned my suggestion that Stanford should develop some of the academic enthusiasm that Harvard has.

I hope this letter will convince all my friends from Dudley to Eliot, and especially in Barnard, that I'm glad I'm here. I'm even learning to enjoy such things as after dinner coffee, cold rain, and the CRIMSON. Kathlean Stassen '63.
