The Harvard debate team recently won the Tufts University debate tournament for the third consecutive time to take permanent possession of the tourney's traveling trophy.

William L. Burke '64 and James McGrew '65 formed the Harvard squad that defeated debaters from 29 other schools. Arden Doss '64 and Robert Kudrie '64 teamed with them to win second place in the four-man competition.

The teams debated this year's national inter-collegiate topic: "Resolved, That the non-Communist nations of the world should establish an economic community."

The Harvard squad won the Brown University tournament earlier this fall, and will compete during Christmas vacation in a tournament at University of Miami.
