Matthews North won the 200-yard freestyle relay and clinched first place in the freshman intramural swimming meet last week. The dormitory finished with a one-point edge over Pennypacker and Hurlbut, which tied for second place.

Close behind him were Frank Willis of Wigglesworth East (first, 50-yard freestyle; third, 100-yard freestyle) Mike Crichton of Weld South (first, 100-yard freestyle; third, 50-yard freestyle), and Forney Hutchinson of Pennypacker (second in 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle).
