Dudley House took the Intramural Boxing Championship last night at the as of its four entrants won their bouts. The freshman competition was by Mower, although two of its three wins were uncontested.

In the "grudge" fight of the evening, John Nicholson, of Quincy House, defeated Winthrop's Angelo Sco in the 130 lb. class.

Jerry Cole slugged his way to a TKO over Art Kruggel during the second round the freshman 145 lb. match. One of the most popular fights took place when Fremont-Smith met Rick Jones for the freshman 155 lb. championship. Alh floored twice, Fremont-Smith scored heavily against Jones before losing by 0 in the third round.

In the 175 lb. class Tom Steele, a former Golden Gloves boxer from St. Paul, shewed his style by scoring consistently against Jerry Daly, who held up under the pounding.

The final bout brought the crowd to its feet when Bruce Gagnon, evidently rel his fight, smiled broadly as he exchanged punches with Jeff Pochop during freshman heavyweight fight. Both demonstrated a lunging style reminiscent of Palooka, and the crowd shouted its approval.
