The varsity and freshman cross country teams meet UMass at Franklin Park today at 3 p.m. in what should be a pair of Crimson victories.
In the varsity race, an exciting finish is expected. Seriously challenging Harvard's highly touted "Big Three"--Captain Mark Mullin, Ed Hamlin, and Ed Meehan--will be the Redmen's sophomore standout, Robert Bruillet, who beat Meehan last year in a freshman encounter. Also, Bruillet has equalled Meehan's winning time against BU last week on the same course under the same conditions.
Harvard, under the direction of coach Bill McCurdy, has an undefeated record with three straight wins against Cornell, Brown, and BU.
