A team from M.I.T. yesterday claimed the "United States Cricket Championship" and welcomed challengers from anywhere, especially Harvard.

The Baker House cricket team at Tech, with little experience but sufficient spirit, noticed that no team has ever called itself the U.S. champion and is ready to take on all comers. Crimson captain John Frith was dubious yesterday about the whole business and was more concerned with the club's match today with Howard University, a team that also claims the national championship.
