JV Ball Team Plays Two Games at Home

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The JV baseball team plays two home games this weekend, facing Gordon College today and Springfield tomorrow. Because the Crimson has beaten both teams earlier this season, coach Alex Bell expects his nine to sweep the two-game series.

Starting pitchers for the games will be Bill Cunningham and Dave Larkin, both of whom have 2-1 records. The home team will be without the services of centerfielder Dick Shima, who has been promoted to the varsty squad.

Varsity coach Norm Sheppard also has his eyes on outfielder Bob Forbush and may bring him up before long.
