Finishing up its first season in the Greater Boston Rifle League, the Crimson marksmen placed fifth in a six-school tournament held Saturday. Ron Simon took aggregate scoring honors for the weekend with 856 out of a possible 900 points.

With a 17 handicap, the Crimson made a final team score of 1411 on Saturday. Handicaps are based on the team's average in regular season play. First in the tournament was M.I.T., with a score of 1417 and an 8 handicap. Tufts, which placed last in season play, came in second in the tournament.

In regular play, the Crimson placed third after Northeastern and M.I.T. Captain Dick Murphy's season average was second in the league, and Simon was ranked fourth.
