The Harvard Club of Scotland, formed last October, was officially inaugurated Friday in Edinburgh. Affiliated with Harvard Clubs in major European cities. Scotland's Harvard Club is unusual in two respects.

Firstly, the club draws on a whole country, rather than a single city, for its membership. In addition, it admits as members women who have studied at Radcliffe or at a graduate school in the University.

Victor S. MacKinnon, secretary of the organization, stated that one of the club's chief aims is "to provide a source of information for students from Scotland who would like to pursue their studies at Harvard."
