NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

James M. Parker, Jr. '60, of Kirkland House and Portland, Maine, has been elected President of the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association.

A veteran sailor, Parker first gained national recognition by winning the midget Turnabout Tournament in 1952 and taking the junior title the following year. He further distinguished himself three years ago by being chosen one of five young sailors to represent the United States in a yachting exchange with Sweden.

The Sailing Association also honored Emil Mosbacher, Dartmouth '43, who skippered the Vim in her trials for The America Cup.
